MUSE Café is a nod, a wink, a slap on the bum. It is a toast to the muse in you and the muse in me. It’s booty shaking praise and it’s champagne smiles. It is a place where we can embrace both the funky and meaningful. We are an inspiration HQ that pays homage to the vibrant spirit of 19th-century Parisian cafes, where writers, poets, artists, scientists, and revolutionaries converged to ignite passionate conversations, groundbreaking ideas, and revolutionary inventions. Our goal is to honor & celebrate the inspiration in everyone and to be a beacon of warmth, hospitality, and inspiration on the playa. We create a space that nods to french café culture and curate events that ignite the playful & seductive spirit of the muse.
Our mission is to honor the muses among us and within us. To seek, offer, and discover inspiration in both the obvious and the peculiar places. To create a nurturing home on playa, to host our fellow burners, and enrich as many people's burning man experience as much as possible.

- We take care of each other, we keep our space beautiful. Even if you are brand spankin’ new to our crew, MUSE is your HOME and we want everyone to support with playa prep, keeping the space tidy, moop free, warm, inviting, safe, and cozy.

- We are so proud of how our camp comes together not to survive - but THRIVE! At MUSE we bring the vibes rain, dust, or shine! We threw the Wettest Party on Playa during the Water Boi AND 95% of camp stayed + supported our delayed soggy strike. Let’s go MUSES!

- MUSE exists because we are made up of a crew that believes in creation + contribution. Every MUSE camper is invited to participate. If you *just* want a place to camp, MUSE probably is not for you. If you want a family on playa and a place where you can experience a thriving ecosystem - MUSE is for you!
- We Love Drama (but only on the stage!)
- Save the drama for the stage baby! We are all about clear communication, support, and solutions! Last year in our post playa MUSE survey we had 15+ campers tell us that MUSE is the first burning man camp they have ever camped at with ZERO drama!
Simple & Sexy ‘26
2026 is our year of ease. We are keeping it really simple and really sexy! True speakeasy vibes. Decadent space, nourishing food, and exquisite company.
We are offering:
Power grid, potable water and gray water, a shower, shared Ecozoic bathrooms
with our hubmates (Disco Space Shuttle & Caravan of Light), dressing room,
kitchen for super yummy nutrient dense camp dinners every night, daily
smoothie bar, daily espresso coffees, and an epic community!
Our location will be brand new and so fun! We are moving to the Gayborhood zone around 8:15 & E

Camp Dues

MUSE is a registered 501c3 and your camp dues can be written off as a donation. If you are feeling generous, donations make running camp soooooo much easier! If you are feeling reaaaaally generous we are looking for a donor to purchase an all-weather stretch tent to upgrade our communal hangout and hosting space.
Power Estimates
We are part of a power grid!!!
What does that mean?
- You get to show up and plug into power without having to fuss with fuel for your RV or generator.
- Our hub of camps will be peaceful and you won’t be listening to the sound of RV generators!
We do not allow RVs to run individual generators at MUSE.
These prices are estimates as we are still working on a massive math formula with our hubmates to figure exact pricing on this with current fuel pricing! (see here if you are interested!)

Camper Commitments
MUSE is powered by participation! The playa ecosystem works when everyone cares. Here are our expectations for participation:
- All campers MUST kick ass for strike on Monday. It is going to be quick, smooth, and sexy!
- Gathering at the hearth and breaking bread for dinner deepens our bonds, strengthens our community, and enriches everyone's experience! All campers must participate in one day of cooking for camp and nurturing the space with your pod.
- All campers must take one trash bag off playa and dispose of it responsibly.
Core Leads
Leadership
- Our leadership team is made up of vet burners who have all participated in different camps and have loads of creativity and heart that they want to share with the burning man project and participants.
- We are seekers, art + music junkies, and take a wholesome party approach.
- We bring an epic buffet of skills to the table including off grid production, live music, logistics, DJ talent, land management, off-grid cooking, artistry in many forms, sustainability, organizational logistics, etc.
- We value organization, communication, maximum creativity, contribution, and being as fun and silly as possible while also getting sh*t done.
- As a fourth year camp our dream is that everyone who joins us brings their heart and is ready to roll their sleeves up to make the magic happen - our core organizers are listed above, but everyone that camps with MUSE will have an opportunity to lead.
